We were delighted to attend the annual André Simon Awards at The Goring at the end of January, not only was it an opportunity to get together with a host of inspiring food & drink writers, but there was also a win for Tim Anderson’s Tokyo Stories!

Tim’s book, published by Hardie Grant, is a journey through the boulevards and backstreests of Tokyo via recipes both iconic & unexpected. Tim took home the John Avery Award with this year’s food assessor Niki Segnit describing the book as “a fun and uplifting read.”
