Exciting times for Thuy Pham & her team at The Little Viet Kitchen in Islington’s Chapel Market, as her first cookbook launches on 19th April. Thuy’s restaurant dream began when she was a small child in Vietnam, cooking for her family alongside her mother & grandmother, and her restaurant brings all of this heritage and wonderful food together. Thuy’s first cookbook shows off her favourite recipes including her famous beef pho broth, which has taken her 3 years to perfect. Cooked for 8 hours using 6 different cuts of beef, it’s definitely a labour of love, but the investment is certainly worth it when you taste the clear, silky smooth broth. Our preview event took place at the restaurant this week, and we were delighted to host guests from Saturday Kitchen, BBC Good Food magazine, ITV’s This Morning, Psychologies, The Sunday Times, Waitrose Food & Metro.
