Pippa wowed the judges with her abilities in the kitchen right from the beginning of Britain’s Best Home Cook, BBC 1’s new flagship cookery programme. She made everything from short rib bao burgers to an aubergine curry. She most loves to cook Chinese food though, which she explains comes from her experiences of going to dim sum restaurants with her Grandad.
Pippa went on to win the inaugural series of the show with a menu of ox cheek massaman curry with jasmine rice, grilled prawns & a Thai herb salad, followed by a Mary Berry inspired mango & raspberry cake. Of her win, Mary Berry said ‘It’s been a joy watching Pippa. She is a true home cook. She enjoys what she does and she just goes the extra mile.’
Pippa’s already been tremendously successful with her noodle & dim sum classes, as well as her supper clubs, and there’s plenty more to come!
Welcome Pippa!
