ABOUT PROJECT TASTE
About Us
Our backgrounds in the food industry are what sets Project Taste apart as a food & drink communications agency. When we say we know food & drink, we really mean it. From running the pass in high profile kitchens and catering for thousands in a field to curating food festivals and styling cookbook shoots, we’ve actually done it. And more.
Restaurants, food & drink brands, events, festivals, chefs.
We know the industry inside out.
We have a contacts list like no other, we’re passionate about what we do, we’ll be honest with you about what’s possible, and we’re always ready with creative ideas.
Eating & drinking for a living?
Yes please! #projecttaste
Who we are
Holly started her career in food in the family catering business and moved swiftly onto organising large scale food events, working with wonderful food producers, running restaurants such as ‘Smiths’ of Smithfield with John Torode and managing chefs.
Her marketing ability comes from an experienced insight into what customers want and how brands can communicate with them in the most effective way.
Holly comes at the talent management side of things using her industry experience, with a nose for negotiation and figuring out how best to get the most out of any brief for the chef and the brand.

Alix saw a gap in the market, and she went for it! Her take on the world of catering and events was that it was missing a bespoke service that really had the vision of the client at the heart of everything. She trained at Leith’s School of Food & Wine, and launched her catering company, Caiger & Co. soon afterwards.
Five years later, Alix and her team are now bringing to Project Taste their experience in creating innovative, luxurious and bespoke events. As our chef guru, she’s never far from the stoves or on the hunt for interesting ingredients, and brings an ‘on the ground’ insight to the world of experiential events.
